Finalists announced for the European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards 2022
The Finalists for the largest and longest running customer contact awards programme in Europe have been announced today. The European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards (ECCCSA) have received nominations from 33 countries, a 34% uplift on last year. The second phase of the robust judging process will now commence and the winners will be revealed at a lavish Awards Evening on Tuesday 22 November in Central London.
“We are so impressed,” said Helen Wilson, Chair of the Judges and Global Chief Experience Officer at Ipsos. “Our panel of expert judges have read through the hundreds of nominations received and there are some truly amazing stories. The organisations that have made it to the finals should be immensely proud of what they have achieved and use the next phase of the judging process to further reflect and celebrate that. Congratulations and good luck to you all.”
Birmingham City Council, Bupa, DHL, Home Shopping Group Europe GmbH, HSBC, loveholidays, Marks & Spencer, Riverside Housing, THG, Vitality and Vodafone are all through. Comdata, Global Bilgi, Pursuit Marketing, Sitel, Teleperformance and Webhelp are amongst the BPO companies that are looking to recognise their work with clients, as well as their own operations.
Also taking part this year are a number of organisations from Ukraine, including Simply Contact who are Finalists in the Best Crisis Management Approach category, and Support Your App who are Finalists in both Most Effective Employee Engagement Approach and the Great Place to Work categories.
“I’m incredibly proud of what customer contact leaders across Europe are doing to support their teams, and combine innovation and technology with the human touch, to improve the customer experience,” says Helen. “As we move into the next phase of judging, with our handpicked team of expert and experienced volunteer judges, the stories will come to life. And this year we are back visiting contact centre sites across Europe in some of the categories.”
“I’d like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to all our judges for giving up their time to commit to the programme. They have a tough, but extraordinarily rewarding job to do, supported with clear standards, principles and criteria against which to assess each entry.”
Headline sponsor, Sabio, has been supporting these awards for several years and their CMO, Tim Pickard, had this to say:
“The reason we continue to support these most prestigious awards is because we recognise the great strides organisations across Europe are taking to improve customer and colleague experiences for the benefit of the wider business. Congratulations to all the Finalists, and with Helen as Chair of the Judges, with the support of nearly 100 expert judges, there is no doubt that the right organisations will surface as the winners in November.”
Being an ECCCSA (pronounced EKSA) winner is a prestigious accolade that has proven to raise the profile of a customer contact operation, its capabilities and its stars. The winners of the ECCCSAs will be revealed at an extravagant Awards Evening hosted by Fiona Bruce, TV presenter and journalist, on Tuesday 22 November 2022, at Evolution, Battersea Park, London.
