Feedback from ECCCSA 2017 Winners – BGL Group
What prompted you to take part in these awards last year?
The awards are a great way of celebrating success recognising the contribution of our staff, it’s also great to be able to benchmark ourselves against the best in our industry.
How do you feel these awards compare with other award programmes that you have taken part in?
The awards compare incredibly well, from the ease of application through to judging and onto the night itself. Enjoyable, organised and very well executed.
What are your lasting memories from the judging process?
Excitement, anticipation and a lot of fun, a great day for the contact centre.
What are your lasting memories of the awards dinner?
Although I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend the awards this year, on talking to my colleagues I know that the evening met the usually incredible high standards.
One of my team members, Martyn Casson, Customer Experience Manager said “The evening was absolutely fantastic from the entertainment and food to the extremely talented acts and hosts. We had a brilliant night which was thoroughly enjoyed by all”.
How did you celebrate your achievement back in the office?
As well as internal communications and sharing news of our success with our partners all staff were invited to a European themed party where we celebrated into the night!
Do you have any tips for organisations that are thinking of entering the awards this year?
The UK has some great Contact Centres and amazing people working In them, my tip would be to look at your own organisation and ask yourself the question “what is it that is different about us?”
Do you feel that your organisation has benefitted from winning an award at the ECCCSAs? If so, how
Definitely. Winning our awards have improved morale and engagement. It’s created a real sense of pride. It’s helped us with our attraction and retention strategy as well as enhancing our reputation with our existing and prospective partners.
Any other comments that you would like to share with us?
I know that so much effort goes into making the Awards a success year on year. Thanks for all of the unsung work – it’s noted and appreciated!
