10 reasons to enter the ECCCSAs
Entering an awards programme can be one of the most rewarding things you can do. The amazing feeling when you win is unbeatable in work terms. Of course, not everyone wins, but simply entering can say so much to your colleagues.
Here are 10 reasons why you should be entering the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards this year:
1. Recognise your achievements
Have you stopped and reflected on what you and your team have achieved? It’s time to celebrate the step forward you have made.
2. Motivate and reward your people
Working on the front line of customer contact is hard. If your team is doing a brilliant job then why not enter to show them that you believe in them. Of course, a win will deliver motivation in spades.
3. Benchmark against the industry
Where does your team or a specific project really benchmark against the rest of the industry? That social media project or complaints process may be ground breaking, although it just feels like common sense to you, why not get it recognised as being the best in Europe?
4. Prove the value of your operation
Writing the entry will help you identify the value that your team or project brings to your business. Being a Finalist gives you a reason to shout about that value to your senior leadership team.
5. Attract and retain talent
Being an award-winning operation can certainly help you attract talent; people want to work for an organisation that recognises success and celebrates it.
6. Get independent feedback from the judges
Through the judges questions and responses you will gather feedback on your project or team that is independent and constructive.
7. Increase awareness of your brand
Getting your brand up in lights on the big screen positions your business as a successful and great place to work. Combine it with your own communications programme celebrating being a Finalist or winner will raise the profile and credibility of your brand.
8. Differentiate and stand out from the crowd
It’s fair to say that not everyone will enter these awards, so being a Finalist or winner will certainly make you stand out amongst your competitors, which will help raise the profile of your operation with existing customers and prospects as well as internal customers.
9. Treat your people, clients and partners
You don’t have to enter the ECCCSAs or reach the finals to treat your people, clients and partners to dinner and entertainment at the awards evening. Of course, it’s great if your brand is up in lights, but why not come along for the ride anyway!
10. Access a network of business leaders and influencers
As well as meeting the judges and fellow competitors during the judging process, the awards evening is a fantastic opportunity to network with senior leaders in the world of customer contact in a relaxed and entertaining environment.
